✦ You can stand on my shoulders if it would help you reach the stars ✦
~ Hello friend ~
♥ Welcome to my humble little corner of the net ♥
I know that sometimes life can be nearly impossible to get through, but something that always helped me through my darkest days was this little quote:
"To the world, you may be one person; but to one person, you may be the world."
I know things can be incredibly hard. But there are people waiting to help you and go through it together. Believe in yourself. Be true to you. You are incredible. You're one of a kind. A masterpiece. And you are so loved. So keep your chin up and carry on~
Don't lose hope - You can do this ♥

I've had days when it felt like my heart and mind looked like this picture. But I did get better (: Depression is a very serious issue, but there is always hope. Treat others well, because you never know what kind of battles they might be facing.
If you or someone you know is suffering from depression or any other overwhelming mental illness and is possibly suicidal, please do your best to be supportive and kind, and have them seek professional help.
Take care of your own health as well though, and have them call this number in America (1-800-273-8255) or search google for their country's Suicide Hotline number.
They also have a website which can be found Here. The calls are completely confidential, and free, and may be the difference between life and death with a serious suicide threat.
Do not feel bad if it's too much for you to handle. That's what the professionals on those hotlines are for. They have the training and will support and help you and/or your friend even when you cannot. Just be there when you can, and listen, and treat them kindly as they seek help.
It's not your fault if something goes wrong even when you do everything you can. Never forget this.
If you need any more help or want someone to talk to, there are people on dA who know this situation intimately, and can offer a little support or advice of their own. Contact me if you need something, and I can find you the appropriate people to talk to or other information.
None of you are alone. Someday the sun will shine again. This too shall pass.
Hang in there. And remember that far more people love you than you could ever realize.

Tattoo Apprenticeship + CommissionsHi everyone! I realize I've lost a bit of my following since I disappeared for a year or so, but I think I could really use your help. But first of all here's what's going on in my life!
On Monday I'm starting at the Academy of Responsible Tattooing to begin my career as a tattoo artist! I'm extremely excited. Tattoo apprenticeships are incredibly difficult to come by these days and in my opinion the whole industry needs to evolve. These days people go to school to learn how to do anything in the arts - why can't tattooing be the same? Most tattoo schools are awful scams, claiming you'll be a successful artists after two weeks. But A.R.T. is a go-at-your-own-pace program with several stages that ensure you are on your way to being a tattoo artist. It's a really great program and I haven't even started and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be a tattoo artist.
The program isn't free though. I do have a part time job but it's sporadic and sometimes I'll go two weeks without work
